Many videos, conspiracies and facts are blending into AI and this will paralyse trust between information from us as citizens and let media alone control truth even if this truth is made by AI. I may be wrong but if this future is real. What can happen under AI cloth? I believe alien and scientific lies can cover up for example: drug side effects; geopolitical tensions; government decisions and others. How can we mitigate that?

It already did. You might be able to differentiate between AI and non-AI images/videos but the average person can't. AI-generated video is already showing up as "evidence" in courts (https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-news/ ... rcna235976)

Mitigations? None I can see that are not seriously dystopian.

Ofc, just 2 years ago, most generated AI videos were garbage but now it's getting way better and this is just the normal one anybody can use. Imagine after 2 years for example how it will be.
