Alex Jones actually *is* Bill Hicks

Post by digdeeper »

I encountered this theory very long ago, probably late 2000s. I dismissed it then since it just seemed too insane and most people just mocked it. But I looked at it today and the evidence seems incontrovertible. This video lays some of it out. The evidence includes:

- extreme similarities in facial composition, including teeth
- they had the same producer; yet no photos of them together, exist
- Alex looks a lot older than his supposed age (Bill was 12 years older)
- Alex admitted several times he is Bill on his show, weirdly enough
- a book written by someone who was at Bill's funeral, actually literally says Bill was in his car after
- he died from a cancer that almost only affects old people (he was 32)
- and more

To ensure I'm not just fooling myself I tried to search for a debunk. I suspected fact checkers would have long ripped this theory to shreds. Surprisingly I found almost nothing. There is this vice piece which just mocks and doesn't respond to any of the evidence. Then this "skeptoid" piece which also mocks and ignores the facts but attempts to give some reasons why AJ can't be Hicks. Basically their only reason is this:
While a believer would say all of that was just part of a faked profile, it takes more than accusations of something being fake to actually prove something is a fake. Random circles and arrows on a picture just don’t cut it. And why bother? What’s the point of the deception? And that’s the biggest issue I have with the Hicks/Jones conspiracy: it doesn’t really have a point.
We can't say that there is no point because we don't know what backstage deals are happening. Hicks did say some anti-government stuff. Maybe they got tired of it and paid him to become a "conspiracy theorist" that makes the truth movement look stupid. Or even threatened. We just don't know, but there ARE possible motives.

This once again exposed the uselessness of the "skeptics" or officialists to me.

Edit: another useless debunk was found here

And as usual it debunks nothing but is shocked that Hicks' politics were different than Jones'. OBVIOUSLY they would be, if Jones was invented to make conspiracy theories look stupid. They wouldn't be his real views. And they just claim Hicks died 20 years ago and that's the great disproof of the theory. Hey??? That is exactly what requires to be proved! You can't just assume so.

Edit 2: another one

Same talking points and mockery. They really can't touch the theory.
