It shouldn't be a crime prosecuted by the state, instead a citizen (including the president) should be legally allowed to duel someone to the death for insulting his wife's honor

I don't necessarily disagree. What bothers me is the power imbalance, because the pleb can be mocked in all kinds of ways by the elites, and has no real ways of resisting. Having to undress for military evaluation, etc.

It all comes down to the power imbalance. Either everyone should be able to mock others, or no one.
