Alltime10s YouTube video named Alphabet (Google) as the most powerful company, not taken down for 7 years.

Post by TechLord »

The video was originally titled "10 Companies That Secretly Control The World", later renamed to "10 Companies That Are More Powerful Than You Realised". (watch page archive, reupload)

It was on YouTube since 2017 until 2024, and was viewed over 2.5 million times. I wonder why YouTube (owned by Google) didn't take it down. Perhaps they take pride in being so powerful?

In February 2024, the channel Alltime10s was deleted, see SocialBlade data, however, the channel page does not state it was terminated for violating YouTube policy, just " This channel is not available.", which suggests it was voluntarily deleted by the Alltime10s people.

There is a channel I forgot its name, it is running a script thay automatically upload like 10 min video every ~1 min.

The channel probably have 100,000s of useless videos right now, filling youtube's servers and yet not banned.

Bascially if the video doesnt voilate youtube's policy, they wont delete it, and I dont remember hearing any policy about saying stuff like top powerful companies.

Bonus: youtube already has many videos like covid conspericacies, golden billion, pizza gate, etc.. and supposely they all voilate the platform's policies yet remain there.

The documentary "out of shadows" from April 2020 was deleted, but it lasted half a year on YouTube. The channel was terminated, supposedly for "harassment and bullying" (source).

If you're going to say negative stuff about Google, they'd rather you do it on their platform where they can make $$$ from the advertisers, where people can continue to remain on their ecosystem, and where the effects of normalisation can occur on their algorithmic terms.
