Obviously a mask but Robert Harward is apparently a real admiral of the US Navy. What is going on here?

IIRC, There was another politician, probably algerian one, that looked like wearing mask (in sense that dark area at the bottom of this neck is visible)

which makes me thing this isn't a mask but simply some lighting effect.

Also assuming its a mask, whats the significance of this anyway?

As I said the guy is a real admiral of the US Navy who has previously appeared in news interviews (see e.g. this one for comparison https://inv.nadeko.net/embed/EzL09vnmXF4?t=146). If they used a face mask it means that either: 1. the guy is dead (or otherwise unavailable for them) but they want to pretend like he's there 2. he was never real to begin with and his other appearances were faked too

My question was more like, how significant is this guy? Did he do anything that effects any random US citizen beside being paid from their taxs?

Like if he was killed or disappeared or freaking bombed himself what will change in this cursed wordly life?

According to wikipedia, he is _insert any fancy typical role in US military_ ,thus he is completely random guy that the "elites" (assuming their existances) would kill just for fun.

I can hardly imagine anyone spending time to make a mask of him, let alone do a faking operation, guy could be killed live on TV, and no one would bother, heck even kirk was forgotten, only I remind people of him just to mention the FACT that he is in hell along side pope francies and khomini of iran.
