Anyone want to try making?
An anti-CCTV hoodie
Re: An anti-CCTV hoodie
I could attempt it but I'd prefer to have input from someone more knowledgeable about cctv cameras on the actual viability of the protection here, since its only viable at night, wouldnt prevent things like gait analysis and without widespread adoption would just draw needless attention to you, so it just seems to me like security theater
Re: An anti-CCTV hoodie
I suppose you could try doing a similar thing with the rest of your clothes so that you're covered entirely with the light?

I assume they made it flash back and forth to not allow the camera to disable the night vision, however in doing so, they just created a vulnerability which is, simply take the frame where its off, take it to any image editing software, and change the contrast and levels, done.
Basically you just added extra step for the police.
Bonus: I see that western terrorists are really noobs, get good.

Where did you get that from? Can't see anything like that in their description (but admittedly I only skimmed it quickly). It says it's only effective when you're at least 3m away from the camera, so i guess that's their amazing "prevention method" from too much light making the camera switch off the night vision? That makes the use case even more limitedI assume they made it flash back and forth to not allow the camera to disable the night vision, however in doing so, they just created a vulnerability which is, simply take the frame where its off, take it to any image editing software, and change the contrast and levels, done.

Idk if they did it to showcase comparison or something.
Anyhow Its a bad idea.

Oh the video didn't even load for me becuase im blocking cuckflare (which vimeo is behind). yeah you can literally see his face by just pausing the footage, this is retarded. i dont think it's comparison since you can't clearly see it on normal speed and the description outright says it's strobe light.

this 'method' is mega good for getting attention (imagine someone reviewing these recordings and suddenly half the screen lights up) rather than hiding yourself imo
