Organizations potentially worth supporting

Intended as a list and discussion of organizations that may be worthy of our support, specifically financially (ideally through XMR but not always possible) or through other ie volunteer methods.
Here's a few that come to mind:
The EFF. https://www.eff.org/ - Generally fights surveillance and is for digital rights generally speaking. I have to bring up the EFF'd Up article of course, but, while it may have issues I don't think there is anything as good or practical around at the moment.
Gun Owners of America https://www.gunowners.org/ - Better than the NRA, does not compromise.
National Rail Passengers Association https://www.narprail.org/ - If you think public transportation is an issue and we deserve a better Amtrak, this is pretty much the only org out there. Your state might have a local entity as well.
Power Progress Community https://www.powerprogress.org/en/ - They are the group behind https://www.powerpc-notebook.org/en/ (which is also worth potentially supporting). They are about advancing open hardware and are actually trying to create a decent option(s).
Firebee https://firebee.org/fb-bin/index?lng=EN - Not sure if this is still active or not, but seems to be a cool alternative hardware project.
USPP https://uspirates.org/ - The US Pirate Party. There's a reason I say "potentially" in this thread. There are some political leanings amongst that party that be negative. That said, they are one of the few actually focused on some really important digital issues, rather than as an after thought. There is also a global pirate party and party parties in many countries.
FSF https://www.fsf.org/ - I think everyone knows this one. They aren't perfect, but they have some good ideals. Accepts XMR.
NLnet https://nlnet.nl/ - They create a lot of software and do things. May accept XMR on request.
Right to Repair https://www.repair.org/
OpenPOWER Foundation https://openpowerfoundation.org/ - Actually the ones that make the processor used in ie the Talos II and Blackbird
https://libre-soc.org/ - more open hardware stuff
Open Source Hardware Association - https://oshwa.org/
Demand Progress https://www.demandprogress.org/ - similar to the EFF by the sounds of it, but don't know much about them
Electronic Privacy Information Center https://epic.org/ - need more info May accept XMR on request.
Center for Democracy and Technology https://cdt.org/ - need more info
US Federation of Workers Cooperatives https://www.usworker.coop/en/ - need more info
Software Freedom Conservancy https://sfconservancy.org/ - need more info
Center for a Stateless Society https://c4ss.org/ - need more info. May accept XMR on request.
Heard of any of these, know anything about them? Have more to suggest? Think the list is trash? Want to look into them and report back findings? Maybe contact some and ask about XMR support??
