- Inserting yourself into conversations on reddit (or any other "popular" place) whenever a relevant topic comes up. For example, if you don't like the schooling system, and some left-winger talks about how we totally need free education, more accessible education, etc. you can ask "why do we need education in the form of today, if it has (xyz) flaws?". Any topic and subreddit could be chosen.
- Use social media if you have access to it. Fediverse works well too, especially for challenging corporations which have their accounts there, often.
- E-mailing various organizations related to the topic you care about, if they exist. To remind them of their blind-spots, or just compliment them on good work, etc.
- Could try to message famous youtubers to cover something they haven't specifically, but is relevant to their audience. To both of the above, sadly they often lack contact info. But for those who do, use it.
- If an outlet you like receives donations, tell them to support monero too.
- In terms of purely tech issues, could notify webdevs to cut the ads, spy scripts, Cloudflare etc. on their sites.
- Perhaps even *gasp* messaging politicians.
All of this could be organized here, with targets, templates, and so on. Or done independently if that is what you prefer.
Why did this suddenly come up? Well, I would like my efforts to not be in vain and die with me. I believe we can bring real change if we focus.
