I thought the stupid animation would contain some engineering/science, but it doesn't, what a waste.
Anyhow giving that I watched the thing (God forgive me), I will give my opinion:
From religion (Islam) it is indeed confirmed that every single disease but death is cureable, the cure is there, whoever knows it knows it.[1]
Thus it became a matter of finding that cure, the combination of chimical components and/or methods to fix the given issue.
Now how valid to say the "elites" are hidding such cures? it is very slim chance for 2 main reasons:
1-conspiracy theories always bring some X hidden cure that was working but disappeared, if the "elites" are hiding cures, then they are doing a bad job, because some school dropouts are finding them online and sometimes giving so much details that one could test or replicate the cure himself (giving he has the equipment and money). As even in the stupid animation, the cure "CREAM" was widespread everywhere before the wealthy people used media to stop it, basically no matter how wealthy you are, you won't stop something as spreadout like that cure in the animation, even if we went with a reallife example, any cure conspiracy theorists bring wasn't fully dead because THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT IT.
2-Biomedicine isn't some top secert knowledge, nor it is harder than quantum physics, if a cure could be made using publically avaiable science, then it can't be hidden, if conspiracies of this kind would want to be useful then teaching or explaining biomedicine to lay people will be more helpful then claiming some guy using his money wants you to suffer for no reason.
I myself once debated some idiot about a solution to an issue, he claimed there is no medicine for such issue, I went google scholar and found many researchs showcasing potential cures, but these cures probably didn't get commercialized.
so if only some WI stop wasting his money on getting drunk, saved some money and made a small factory, using these open access studies to mix a cure for us, would be amazing right? and it is not even hard, many scammers online seem to be mixing whatever and seeling it at high prices.
but no, lets just wait for pfizer to hopefully see interest in these studies.

It literally already happens. For decades. Look up laetrile for cancer for example (a decent report is here).LoadingXML wrote: Tue May 26, 2026 9:57 pm 1-conspiracy theories always bring some X hidden cure that was working but disappeared, if the "elites" are hiding cures, then they are doing a bad job, because some school dropouts are finding them online and sometimes giving so much details that one could test or replicate the cure himself (giving he has the equipment and money). It doesn't mean you have to completely bury it - that's impossible in the age of the internet. But you still can:
- not fund the research of it
- remove the research from big journals
- claim it's misinformation, dangerous, etc. in the media
- bury the links in big search engines
- ban selling it, or require disclaimers it's not medicine, etc
Hell, the Covid situation even makes a great recent example. Drugs that were previously commonly used (and known to be safe, at least as much as modern medicine can be safe) were suddenly being shat on in the media. Doctors using them even lost their jobs and became the victims of character assassination (eg this guy). Hell, simple vitamins suddenly became villains eg here or here
It isn't top secret, but inaccessible to a regular person. And besides, the things you're envisioning would cost millions. Stem cells, genetic modification for example. Again the big industry wins and the commoner loses. See here for example. Business selling expensive stuff is threatened by the one selling cheap stuff, or even by regular store items turning out to be medical.

The story/message is decent for what it is (I knew what to expect even before watching), but that photographic animation style was... mentally scarring. I'll need some Cream to unsee it.TechLord wrote: Tue May 26, 2026 8:53 pm Cream by David Firth

Shame you mentioned the twist in the title, I would've probably enjoyed this more if I assumed there will be a generic "cream is secretly evil" twist. it's fine I suppose, I'm glad to see the amount of comments which say things along the lines of "watching this in 2026 its so scary how true it is"

Indeed. In the real worlds, doctors risk losing their medical license if they go against the medical lobby.qualia wrote: Wed May 27, 2026 10:22 pm I'm glad to see the amount of comments which say things along the lines of "watching this in 2026 its so scary how true it is"
